Our friendly congregation is known for their care for each other - and we're eager to welcome you, too.
8:45am each Sunday. Holy Communion once a month.
We encourage all members to attend a small group on a weekly or fortnightly basis, for Bible study, prayer and mutual support in following Jesus Christ.
In 2008 we have the following small groups associated with Arcadia in particular, meeting in private homes (new members are welcome)...
- 11am Monday (weekly)
- 7:30pm Friday (fortnightly)
We have a Family Service with a small Sunday School each Month (generally the 4th Sunday). After a kids' spot, children go out to an all ages programme while the adults continue in church.
Elected
The 2088 church wardens for St Columb's are Brian Bell, Sylvia Harder and John Robson.
Staff
Our Senior Minister is Fergus Semler. He oversees the ministry of the whole parish, and leads the monthly family service.
Gerald Beckett, a former rector of the parish, now works part-time. One of his responsibilities is the co-ordination of services at St Columb's, where he leads services twice a month.
