It is Parish Council policy to encourage as many parishioners as possible to make their offertory giving by direct debit. This is a helpful way of making sure that their commitment to regular giving is soundly based. And the Parish also stands to benefit from such regular giving by parishioners. There are a few different ways of doing it, in the likely order of convenience both for you and the Parish: - If your employer’s payroll system allows, arrange for the amount you wish to give per pay period to be deducted from your salary and remitted to the Parish’s bank account with Glebe Income Accounts:
BSB No: 704 998 Account No: 100007625 S8 Account name: Dural Anglican Parish - If you do your banking on the Internet, arrange for your offertory (say, monthly) to be remitted to the Parish’s bank account (same details as above). Please also include a reference which either shows your name or, for privacy’s sake, only the church service you attend (eg “10 am member”).
- Arrange for your monthly offertory to be debited directly from your bank account and remitted to Sydney Diocesan Secretariat, who will then forward the money to the Parish. You will need to complete the diocese’s form for this method – obtainable from the Treasurer.
- Arrange with your bank to make a periodical payment from your bank account to the Parish’s. The bank will probably charge a fee.
