We welcome inquiries about conducting your wedding service at one of our churches. As a Christian church, we are charged with a responsibility to help prepare couples for a Christian wedding and marriage. As a general guide, we believe 3 main areas are vital...
- Christian preparation: attending services and completing our Marriage in the Bible course (3 sessions)
- Marriage preparation: attending a specially designed Anglicare course (1 full day)
- Wedding Service preparation: 3 meetings with the minister (normally in conjunction with the Bible course) and rehearsal (optional)
As an initial step, we recommend that couples attend one of our services to see what we're like and to meet one of the ministry staff. Contact our office if you would like to receive our brochure by mail (it will shortly be available from this page). Please note that no booking can be confirmed until you have returned an application form and spoken to our staff.
Initial inquiries by phone are welcome (9651-1119). If either party is under 18, or has been previously married, or if you live outside our area, you will need to discuss your situation with one of our ministers.
